About Me

One person can make a difference!

On September 8, 2016, I rang the bell at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, both literally and figuratively, to memorialize a new chapter in my life.  Ringing the bell marked an end to my four years of intense treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL T-Cell), and its sound proclaimed my desire to make a positive difference in our world.

I knew then that I was capable of attaining extraordinary goals; I was inspired to take advantage of all the world has to offer.

I knew then that I could make a difference; every day offers another opportunity for me to make a positive impact on our world.

Causes of this predominantly childhood cancer are not well documented.  It is generally believed among oncologists that something, environmental or otherwise, triggers a predisposition for this disease.

I have always loved the outdoors.  I have always been inquisitive.  This site is dedicated to the environment and my quest to determine what impacts, if any, it may have on one’s health and happiness.

Thank you for joining me on this journey!

“Ring this bell, three times well.  It’s ring will clearly say, my treatment is done, this course is run, and I am on my way!”
